Editorial principles
We publish information that helps a decision, not copy designed only to rank a page. Relevance depends on source clarity, current status, market and requirements rather than potential commission.
Accepted sources
- Official offer, terms, help, loyalty-program or newsletter pages from the retailer.
- Identifiable regional communications and retailer terms documents.
- Secondary sources only as leads, never as the sole support for an offer labelled verified.
Status and wording
“Source reviewed” records when official information was captured. “Current” means the record had not passed its known public end date during the latest audit; it does not guarantee stock, eligibility or checkout application. “Ended” removes an offer from current listings and Offer schema.
Testing and limitations
We do not say a code was tested unless a real documented check exists. Visiting a source is not the same as completing a purchase. When no end date is public, we state the limitation and prioritise a new review.
Corrections
Reports sent to [email protected] are checked against the source. We may correct wording, change the market, remove a record or add context. Material corrections update the modification date.
Commercial independence
Affiliates and advertisers do not approve copy and cannot demand a favourable ranking. Commercial links are identified through notices and technical attributes where appropriate.
Automated assistance
Tools can help detect dates, duplicates or structural errors. Final publication must retain useful language, identifiable sources and editorial controls. Empty pages are not added to the sitemap.
